What's your best guess? Would you say that more Kentuckians have called in by phone or visited the Web site to put their name on the "no call" telemarketing list from the Office of the Kentucky Attorney General? It's not even close. Here are the numbers since House Bill 47 was signed by Governor Patton on March 6, 2002:

  • Over 178,000 Kentuckians have visited the Kentucky Attorney General's Web site to put their name on the no call list so far.

  • In that same time frame, 46,000 people have called by phone to put their name on the list.

  • Since the list was created in 1998, over 347,000 Kentuckians have signed up.

  • The no call law goes into effect in mid July, 2002
