Tips for Viewing Messages in your Inbox

Sorting

In your inbox, you can sort messages in many different ways. Click on the gray bar just above the person's name to sort your "From" messages alphabetically. A small arrow should appear in the gray bar to show you either an ascending or descending order. Move down the bar to "Subject" and click on the gray bar to sort alphabetically by Subject. Click on the gray bar next to "Received" to sort by date.

Changing Headings
The inbox you see above has headings for From, Subject, Received and Size. You can customize those headings in many different ways. You'll notice "Size" appears above. As as example, you can add it to your inbox by selecting View/Current View/Customize Current View/Fields. Select the "Size" field in the left column and click on "Add." You can choose any other field you want to appear in your inbox by clicking it and then "Add" and repeat. After you've added a selection you can remove it by clicking on Remove.

Moving Fields
To move a displayed field or column in your inbox, just click on the field in the gray heading bar and drag it to the appropriate spot between other columns and "drop" it in place.

Deleting Fields
To remove an unnecessary field from a particular window, simply right mouse click on the heading bar and go to "remove this column". Or click next to the heading name and drag the column up until you see an "X" appear. When you unclick it will be removed.
