The preliminary total number of people killed on Kentucky roadways in 2003 is 919. Here is a look at some of the reasons fatalities occured from the Kentucky State Police Division of Records:

House Bill 33 and HB 93, both related to Kentucky's seat belt law, are up for consideration before the Kentucky Legislature which is now in session.
