Have you noticed there's a telecommunications tower nearly everywhere you look these days? Kentucky now has over 1515 antenna structures over 200 feet high spread out across the state. Most antenna structures have a variety of telecommunications services attached to them, including broadcast, emergency services, public safety, and cellular. However the fastest growing use is for cellular/wireless with over 460 antenna structures associated with a cellular company license. In addition, there are 266 licenses that have been granted and not yet constructed.
