Enrolling for traffic school on the Internet in Kentucky is apparently a popular idea. In May, 33% of the individuals who needed to enroll for traffic school did so over the Internet. That accounted for 2,236 dedicated students!

It began in February and each month has seen an increase in usage via the Web. According to Steve Coffey, assistant director of the Division of Driver Licensing at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, customers seem to be happy with the new setup.

About 100,000 people a year go to traffic school and cabinet officials had hoped 30% would start using the Internet enrollment option by the end of the year. The Web based enrollments have already exceeded that goal!

Coffey explained that the customers appreciate the ability to enroll or reschedule their classes 24/7 from the privacy of their homes. For Transportation Cabinet employees, there are also benefits-thousands of fewer phone calls and pieces of mail to open!

So in case you receive one of those special letters from the court "inviting" you to attend this school, you can simply go to http://sts.ky.gov.

Credit and debit cards are accepted!
