How informed are you when you cast your vote?
By the time Tuesday, November 2nd arrives, chances are you'll
know which presidential candidate gets your vote. But what about
races here in Kentucky? Now, Kentucky's State Board of Elections
is making it a lot easier for you to stay informed about Kentucky's
races by unveiling a newly redesigned
Web site. The site was designed by the same team who manages
the state's official Web site Kentucky.gov,
and offers a familiar online experience to make it easier and
faster to get the information you need.

We are thrilled to offer this
new site to the citizens of Kentucky, stated Secretary of
State Trey Grayson, Chairman of the State Board of Elections.
We are particularly proud that the Web sites format
follows accessibility standards and will allow more citizens to
access the many resources found on the site.
The newly designed Web site offers election and
voting information in an easy-to-use, accessible format. Kentuckians
can find information on registering to vote, changing
their voter registration information, and conducting a voter registration
drive. They can also find their precinct location and legislative
districts, view election statistics and laws and access an election
calendar. The site also allows visitors to get specific candidate
information including links to the candidates Web sites if available.
I hope Kentuckians will take some time to
visit us at our new home on the Internet, said Secretary
Grayson. We know that they will find the services very useful
as election day draws near.
